Thomas (Ty) D. Sims III, founding co-owner of Blu Properties, Inc. possesses great knowledge and understanding of the real estate and development industry which is derived from being a third generation real estate entrepreneur.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Mr. Sims relocated to the Emerald Coast in 1996 where he purchased property in Seagrove Beach, launching his Florida Real Estate career. In the following years, he invested heavily in residential and commercial property throughout the Florida Panhandle and co-founded Sundial Development, a company that specialized in residential home building throughout the Emerald Coast. Mr. Sims joined Coldwell Banker, NRT in 2003, where he primarily focused on commercial and residential Real Estate and sold over $60 million in property in less than 2 years. During his 2 year tenure with Coldwell Banker he earned the International President Elite status, awarded to the top 4% of Coldwell Banker agents in the country.

Blu Properties Inc. was the vision of Bryan Zinober and Ty Sims whose goal was to create a full service real estate brokerage that provides innovative marketing approaches to developers and clients. This common vision and goal for a real estate brokerage that Mr. Zinober and Mr. Sims shared of satisfying all the marketing needs for developers, investors and end users alike came to fruition in early 2005 with the inception of Blu Properties, Inc.

Mr. Sims primarily focuses on commercial real estate and development projects. His devotion to this segment of the industry has allowed him to meet the complicated needs of both buyer and seller. Mr. Sims's understanding of the intricate Florida real estate market enables him to address individual real estate needs.

Mr. Sims currently resides in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with his wife and two children where he and his family enjoy the many coastal activities the region offers.
